Biography
Charlie Kaupp is a Senior Product Manager at Lighthouse, where he leads search and information-retrieval products that help legal teams achieve speed to knowledge faster and with higher confidence. He joined H5, the San Francisco legal-analytics firm, in 2006 as a linguist and information-retrieval expert, and his roles since have run across eDiscovery operations, client success, and product management.
When Lighthouse acquired H5 in 2021 he carried through, and he now builds IQ Answers (formerly Lighthouse AI Search) on the LighthouseIQ platform. The through-line of the career is linguistics: two decades of applying how language actually works to the problem of finding what matters in millions of documents.
